THE WATERFALLS OF FIGUEIREDO - FULL DAY TOUR

A full-day tour starting in Manaus that intends to visit two waterfalls and whitewater, the itinerary is indicated for elder people who do not want to walk much but still want to experience the place.

Pick up in Manaus at 8:30 AM, Meeting in the hotel, embarkation in a car or van, drive of two hours till reach the town. Once the tourists arrive there, they will go straight to Iracema waterfalls complex, formed by ancient rocks, waterfalls and beautiful jungle. There will be short trails in the forest to reach the main waterfall, along the way is possible to understand the ancient Amazon and the basin formation.

After the visitation all clients will go Urubui rapids, located in the middle of the city, a short time to visit the white water and lunch will be served in a local restaurant as a buffet style.

Then after lunch, all passengers will visit another nice waterfall called Sanctuary, short walking to reach the fall, some explanations about the place and there will be some time free to enjoy a nice and refreshing bath under the falls. At 3:30 PM, the trip back to Manaus starts, depending on the wheater you can be in Manaus around 5:30 PM.

MAROAGA AND JUDEIA CAVE EXPLORATION - FULL DAY TOUR

Maroaga and Judeia Caves are two old rock formation located in the heart of Amazon rainforest, according to a legend, the caves were used by a powerful indigenous leader called Maroaga to hide his people when the militaries started to open the federal highway to join Manaus to Roraima. 

Nowadays the cave is a protected area and can be visited only with a local guide, the tour intends to take you to visit the waterfall, the caves and to tell you about the environment and curiosities. The tour begins in Manaus with a 2 hours trip until the place, once you get there you will meet another tour guide who can be guiding you all time during the activity. The jungle walking takes 2h30min. Learning how the forest behaves and all the ecosystems work in that place.

After the walking all passengers go for a lunch break in the city, the buffet is included in the tour, after lunch, we will take you to have a shower under the Asframa falls, the trip to Manaus starts at 4:00 PM, All customers will be delivered in their hotels in Manaus.
